Kirk McCormick began his legal career as a prosecutor in Des Moines, Iowa, following his graduation from Drake University Law School. After relocating to Colorado Springs in 1986, he transitioned to handling multi-million dollar commercial litigation for Colorado Interstate Gas Company. Later, he became a partner at Hall & Evans, the largest law firm in Colorado focusing on insurance company representation. Today, he serves clients throughout Colorado from offices in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Pueblo as a personal injury attorney.

Experience

Following law school, Mr. McCormick was licensed to practice law in Iowa, where he worked for 2½ years prosecuting major felonies. After moving to Colorado Springs in 1986, he served as a litigation attorney for Colorado Interstate Gas Company, handling multi-million dollar commercial lawsuits. He later became a partner at the Denver-based law firm Hall & Evans, which at the time was the largest insurance defense firm in the state. Throughout his career spanning over three decades, Mr. McCormick has tried dozens of cases to jury verdict, giving him extensive courtroom experience in personal injury matters including car accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death claims, slip and fall cases, insurance bad faith disputes, dog bite injuries, and traumatic brain injury cases.
